2018/19 Season Ticket Terms & Conditions

1. It is the sole responsibility of the season ticket holder to ensure season tickets are not lost or mislaid, Rotherham United Football Club accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged season tickets.

2. Lost season tickets can be replaced upon a charge of £10. Any duplicates must be arranged in person at the Red and White Shop. Any duplicate charges will not be refunded, even if the original is located.

3. Season tickets shall remain the property of the club at all times.

4. Any supporter who forgets their season ticket will need to contact the Red and White Shop to have a replacement ticket issued. A £3 charge will be incurred for the duplicate ticket.

5. The whole stadium is NO SMOKING. Designated smoking areas will be made available at half time.

6. Rotherham United Football Club operates a zero tolerance approach to swearing and abusive language at the AESSEAL New York Stadium, especially in the Ben Bennett Family East Stand.

7. Season tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of FIFA, UEFA, FA Premier League and/or the English Football League (EFL) in respect of the relevant competition and the Rotherham United Football Club Ground Regulations. Season ticket holders must adhere to the ground regulations currently in force, a copy of which is available at the main office. Rotherham United Football Club will not tolerate any swearing, abusive language or racial/homophobic chanting. Perpetrators will be banned from attending future matches without refund.

8. Match dates are subject to alteration. Under no circumstances will refunds be made for individual fixtures missed.

9. Season tickets are available for first team league matches at the AESSEAL New York Stadium. Should the season ticket holder’s seat be unavailable for any reason the best alternative seat will be provided.

10. Rotherham United Football Club is entitled to cancel any season ticket which is proven to have been misused (without any refund).

11. Season tickets are non refundable. The club will only consider refund requests under exceptional circumstances, in writing, with additional supporting evidence. These refunds are not guaranteed and are at the Club’s discretion. Direct Debit customers should be aware that cancellation of your Direct Debit does not result in cancellation of your Season Ticket. Customers who purchase Season Tickets under the Direct Debit Scheme will still be liable to pay any outstanding balance until the club approve any cancellation requests. Customers who fail to notify us in writing may be refused Direct Debit for any future Season Tickets.

12. Season tickets are transferable upon request, subject to approval by the Club. A £5 administration fee, per season ticket is applicable. Downgrades are not available.

13. In order to purchase a season ticket at Rotherham United, an appropriate form of Photo ID will be required in the form of a current passport or driving licence.

14. Proof of age will be required for all concessionary tickets in the form of a copy of Birth Certificate, Driving Licence or Passport. Young Adult rate applied to 18 – 21 year olds who have not reached their 22nd birthday on or before 4th August 2018. Juvenile rate applies to 13-17 year olds who have not reached their 18th birthday on or before 4th August 2018. Junior rate applies to 8 to 12 year olds who have not reached their 13th birthday on or before 4th August 2018. Under 8 rate applies to those who have not reached their 8th birthday on or before 4th August 2018. Senior Citizen rate applies to those who achieve their 60th birthday on or before 4th August 2018.

15. Any ticket found to be used fraudulently for any fixture will result in that ticket being void and a full priced ticket will need to be purchased. Persistent fraudulent use may result in the season ticket being cancelled without refund.

16. Application for an under 8 season ticket must be made at the time of purchase of the accompanying fee paying adult or senior season ticket. Proof of identity, i.e. birth certificate will be required. The under 8 season ticket cannot be claimed online. Under 8 season ticket holders may only upgrade their season ticket a maximum of six times per season. The club reserves the right to revoke any under 8 season ticket which has not been used at least six times per half season.

17. The 10% discount in the family stand is applicable when a fee paying adult purchases a season ticket with either a juvenile or a junior. Under 8 season tickets are not included in the family discount offer. Families will need to be sat together in the family stand and the discount will need to be requested at the time of purchase.

18. All juniors 12 years old and under must be accompanied by someone aged 16 or above at all times.

19. Those with proof of higher rate DLA or enhanced PIP may obtain a concessionary priced ticket and free carer if required.

20. Season ticket holders can claim 15% discount in the Red and White Shop and online at on full priced merchandise items.

Discount will be applied on production of your season ticket at the time of purchase. No discount will be given if the season card is not shown at the time of purchase. Discount cannot be applied retrospectively.

21. The club reserves absolute discretion in determining the eligibility for any concessions claimed.

22. We refuse the right to block or cancel any season ticket, without refund, subject to any supporters not complying with the ground regulations.

23. Proof of concession will be required for supporters claiming a HM Armed Forces concessionary season ticket. A valid armed forces ID will be required with an expiry date on to claim an armed forces concessionary season ticket.

2018/19 Direct Debit Terms & Conditions

1. If season ticket purchased under the direct debit scheme, failure to keep direct debit payments up to date may result in your season ticket being cancelled. The club reserves the right to re-sell your allocated seat should you default on payments.

2. Your season card will not be activated until all Direct Debit Payments have been honoured. Should any Direct Debits be returned to us unpaid by the bank, your Season Card will be immediately de-activated. Your Season Card will only be reactivated after all outstanding payments have been resolved.

3. You may be refused season ticket benefits should your direct debit payments not be up to date. These benefits include but are not limited to discount on full priced merchandise from the Red and White Shop and priority on away or cup ticket purchases.

4. If any of your direct debits are not honoured when presented for payment a fee of £20 will be charged ("Late Payment Fee") and you will be contacted for payment. A replacement payment for the amount of the direct debit not honoured together with the Late Payment Fee must be received within fourteen days of notification.

5. Your season card will not be activated until the total cost of the season ticket together with the Late Payment Fees have been received by us in cleared funds.

6. No Direct Debit deposits, Direct Debit payments or Late Payment Fees will be refunded under any circumstance.

7. Any notice or other information we may need to send to you under the terms of this instalment offer may be sent by second class pre-paid post to the address you have completed in the application form.

8. If your season ticket has been auto renewed, you have the right to cancel until 5pm Friday 18th May 2018.

Ticketing - Terms and Conditions 2018-2019

The ticket is issued by the club subject to terms and conditions of entry. The use of this ticket to enter the club's stadium constitutes acceptance of the clubs terms and conditions of entry. Your attention is drawn to the following specific provisions:

• The ticket shall remain at all times the property of the club.

• Tickets are issued for the personal use of the purchaser only save for transfer to his/her guest in acceptance with the terms and conditions of entry PROVIDED THAT such transfer takes place in consideration of no payment or benefit in excess of the value of the ticket plus any pro-rated administrative cost and such transfer does not take place in the course of any business of for the purpose of facilitating any third party business.

• Any ticket obtained or used in breach of the Terms and Conditions of Entry will be automatically void. The bearer will be refused entry and if already in the stadium, will be ejected in either case without refund.

• The unauthorised sale of tickets is illegal under section 1966 of the criminal justice and public order act 1994. This ticket may not be used in any commercial purpose save as expressly authorised by the football league or the club.

• Subject to the following provision no person may bring into (or use within) the stadium any equipment which is capable of recording or transmitting (by digital or other means) any audio visual or audio-visual material or any information or data in relation to a match of any aspect of it. Mobile telephones are permitted within the stadium provided that they are used for personal and private use only.

• The club reserves the right to eject from the stadium any person who fails to comply with the clubs ticket conditions and/or ground regulations.

• Rotherham United football club accepts no responsibility if the seat in which this ticket refers is affected by adverse weather conditions.

• No refund for the ticket will be provided after the game has commenced.

• Rotherham United football club accepts no responsibility to replace lost, damaged or stolen tickets. Any tickets which are lost can be reprinted by visiting the Red and White Shop. There will be a £3 charge per ticket.

• Rotherham United football club excludes to the maximum extent permitted by law any liability for loss injury or damage to persons/property in or around the ground for the stadium.

• The use of threatening behaviour, foul or abusive language is strictly forbidden and will result in arrest and/or ejection from the Ground. The Club may impose a ban for one or more matches. We do not tolerate discrimination of any sort at Rotherham United, which includes but not limited to discrimination against gender, age, race, religion or belief, marriage or civil partnership, disability, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, pregnancy or maternity, ethnic or national origin or political belief, either on the pitch or in the stands. As such, we participate in a number of EFL initiatives aimed at eliminating discrimination of all types from football permanently. Bad language is not acceptable anywhere and in the Ben Bennett Family Stand we take a zero tolerance approach to this.Should you encounter any instances of anti-social behaviour, this can be reported to the nearest steward or direct to the Stadium Control Room by texting 07507449121 on the match day. Please provide as much information as possible including row and seats numbers as well as names or descriptions if possible. The club may impose a ban to any supporter who is found to break this regulation.

• All juniors 12 and under must be accompanied by someone aged 16 or above and seated next to them.

• Rotherham United Football Club do not feel that a football match is a suitable environment in which to bring a baby. A risk assessment has been carried out and in view of the risks to the baby the Club does not actively encourage supporters to bring babes in arms to football matches. However the Club recognise that a very limited number of people do wish to bring their babies to matches. Where this happens we will endeavour to provide seating for the parent and child in the Family Stand. This area is the most suitable area within the stadium and provides the best facilities for child/baby care. There are baby changing facilities within some of the hospitality areas and in the family stand. Where members of staff become aware that a member of the public wishes to bring a babe in arms to a football match they will inform the matter to a Supervisor / Safety Officer. Prams are not allowed in the main stadium area.

• Supporters who purchase tickets at The AESSEAL New York Stadium must do so in the area specified for their supporters. We may occasionally share data with the away club in accordance with safety requirements and compliance with the ground regulations should we deem it necessary. This may result in the club cancelling supporters tickets and/or ejecting supporters from the ground should they be in the wrong areas of the ground.

• Supporters who purchase concession tickets may need to show proof of concession at the time of purchase. Although proof may have been shown at the point of sale, it is advisable to carry some form of proof on match day in case of doubt at the turnstile. This will ensure that you are not delayed and do not miss kick off. Should anyone be found to be entering the stadium on a concessionary ticket which they do not qualify for, the ticket will be void and a full price ticket will need to be purchased from the Red and White Shop. No refund will be given on the void ticket.

• We offer supporters the chance to purchase tickets at a concessionary rate which they may qualify for. Concessions available to our supporters are Senior (60 and over), Disabled (available to supporters who are on higher rate DLA or enhanced PIP), Young Adult (18 – 21 year old), Juvenile (13 – 17 year old), Junior (12 years old and under), Under 8 (This concession is only available in the Ben Bennett Family Stand – East Stand).

• The complex combination of TV selections in the EFL added to Cup fixtures for the Carabao Cup and Emirates FA Cup means certain matches may be subject to change of match date and kick-off time. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to ascertain the rescheduled match date and kick-off time, which is communicated through the Club’s communication channels. The Club is not liable for any travel or accommodation costs incurred or lost as a result of these fixture changes and no refunds or compensation will be paid in these circumstances. Tickets which have been purchased, along with season tickets should they be valid, will be valid for the rearranged fixture.

• In the event of the match being postponed or abandoned, should the abandonment be before kick off, your ticket is valid for the new date. If the match has kicked off, the club will make arrangements for spectators to pay half price admission at the rearranged game. Full details about any specific fixture which is abandoned will be made available on the official club website as soon as a decision is made and the visiting club informed.

Retail Terms and Conditions


Season ticket holders discount of 15% and Millers Mayday discount of 10% is only available on full priced products. You will not be able to claim any discounts on sale items. The discounts are available in-store and online. Supporters must first log into the website with the customer account which they have purchased their season ticket or millers mayday membership on before adding their items to the basket. If items have been added to the basket before you log in, your discounts will not be applied. Supporters must show their season ticket or millers mayday card in-store to claim their discount.

Shirt Printing

Please note the style of letters and numbers is for illustration purposes only. The actual style of letters and numbers will match the current official EFL range. Items with custom printing cannot be exchanged or refunded unless the product is faulty. We accept no responsibility once a replica shirt or short has been printed, in an event that a player leaves the squad and/or his squad number changes. We also accept no responsibility if the size of the shirt selected by the customer is incorrect. Personalisation is subject to the chosen name and number fitting the garment size.

Delivery Times

We aim to despatch all orders within 2-3 working days (subject to stock availability). Please allow 7 days for UK destinations and 14 days for all the other destinations.
It is always our intention to process all orders in the shortest possible time.

Collection Times

Orders which are to be collected will be available during the week 24 hours after the order. Orders placed at the weekend will be available to collect on the following Monday after 12pm.

Stock Availability

We make every effort to ensure that all items featured are available. Occasionally however, sales of some items will exceed expectations and we may temporarily be out of stock or even sold out earlier than anticipated.

Customer Service Guarantee/Returns

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase you can return it within 14 days of receipt for an exchange or credit note* to the value paid.
Any item/s being returned that have been on sale at a promotional/reduced price at any time will only be valued at that lower price in the form of an exchange or credit note if there is no proof of purchase.
Please note items returned should be unworn and unused and proof of purchase will be required.
We reserve the right to refuse a return if the item has been damaged, tampered with, incorrectly washed or subjected to more than reasonable wear and tear.
Any returns and re-shipping costs are entirely the customer’s responsibility.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
